Live Painting Package
a walk-through of my package and process
THE PACKGE:
22x28 Oil Painting on Canvas Framed
At the wedding I will be creating your painting in what I like to call my “working frame” (which you can see above), this frame is to add to the look of my setup. But for your final frame that goes with your painting in your home, I will be sending you several options for you to choose from based around your color and style preferences after the painting is completed.
These 5 hours will begin when your guests begin to arrive. However I do like to arrive 2-3 hours before to setup and get a start on the painting. That way when your guests begin to arrive there is already a start to the artwork. The additional hours before your guests arrive do not take away from your total of 5 hours.
5 Hours On Site Painting
Pre-Wedding Planning Session
Tailoring the artwork to your preferences is VERY important to me as an artist. I want you to feel as happy with your artwork in your home as you do at the wedding. So this planning/brainstorming meeting gives us a chance to discuss colors, mood, the focus of the painting, and the overall vision for the artwork. This meeting can be in person if you are local to the Greenville SC area or over FaceTime. I love the collaboration, so you are encouraged to bring inspiration and ideas to the meeting!
Studio Wrap Up Session
At the wedding (as long as all circumstances work out as planned) I will be able to have your painting mostly finished by the end of my time at the event. After the wedding I will take the artwork back to my studio and continue adding any details and finessing the painting. This studio time gives me the opportunity to see the artwork again in the daylight and add any details or texture to create a well finished piece.
Delivery 6 Weeks after Wedding
Oil Painting is a very slow drying medium, so this time is required to have the artwork ready for framing and delivery.
High Resolution Digital Image of Painting
Around the 3 week mark after your wedding I will be sending you a high resolution digital image of your artwork. While you are waiting for the original painting to finish drying, you will have a digital version of the artwork to share. You are also welcome to make thank you cards or prints from this digital image of the painting.
