Wandering Dean village and its many bridges on a foggy morning with a coffee in hand, I paused to make several sketches. These were all quick 5 minute sketches with copious amounts of color and light notes for later reference. These kinds of margin notes in my sketchbook, help me so much when I get back in my studio to begin work on the final oil paintings.
