Artwork Story:
On our first evening in Edinburgh, after our red eye flight, we wandered the city for hours with no itinerary, just restless legs. At twilight we found ourselves in Greyfriars Kirkyard (for those who don’t know this cemetery is famous for the inscriptions on gravestones, being the inspiration behind several Harry Potter characters) In early November the autumn leaves had mostly gone, but here, in the trees and scattered in piles on the ground were vivid yellow leaves, almost glowing in the low light.
This is an original oil painting created by Kristin Durkin. It's 11×14 inches and framed in a professional, gold frame and is wired to hang.
