Painting a picture of the

Wedding Day

Where I Setup:

My Easel and Paints will go with me where you need them to! I even have an easel that works for less than even terrain.

My setup is fully self - sufficient and my lights for the evening and dark spaces are battery powered.

The main recommendation I offer is that I’m not placed too close to the music or speakers. Guests very often have lots of amazing questions and I find they are much more likely in interact with me in a slightly quieter setting.

How Guests interact with the Painting

I’ve had every type of question and comment… from thoughtful, insightful questions about my process, to the joking declaration of “I can’t even draw a stick figure!”, to an even funnier interaction where a (slightly) tipsy guest exclaimed that he loved my work so much he would “Follow me into battle!” 😂

I can honestly say I’ve loved every one of them! Chatting with guests is often my favorite part of the event.

I never thought about having a live wedding painter until I saw Kristin's work in person at the Greenville wedding show. Her style is so old-world and romantic that I felt she could capture the intimate feeling of a wedding more than snapshot with a blinding flash could ever. It was a joy to watch her work and integrate with guests throughout the reception, and made the whole process a lovely memory of the day even beyond the painting itself!

Why couples say it’s meaningful…

“How do I accurately describe our experience working with Kristin?? She is kind, talented, dedicated and she DELIVERS! Having her paint our wedding ceremony was one of the best decisions we made planning our wedding. She communicated with me so much, asked great questions about colors and helped us decide on the specific scene she would focus on, and then all our wedding guests loved watching her paint and share her artistic view of the special occasion! It’s one of the few things from that day that we got to keep! We ended up decorating our living room around her painting, and it means so much to have a piece of artwork made from her heart in our home!”
