Kick your shoes off and grab a mug of something warm, while I tell you a bit about myself, the artist behind the paintings.

My artistic journey has been a bit of a wandering… an adventure if you will. As a self taught artist of 16+ years experience, my education has come through reading endless piles of books, experimentation, mountains of sketchbooks, and mostly just following where my heart and obsession leads.

I would describe myself as a rabidly curious person who will NEVER stop trying to learn and grow, both Personally as well as an Artist.

I have a massive love of nature and the outdoors, so you will often find me out hiking through the woods or mountains with a backpack full of books and/or art supplies. Maybe nature has been my greatest teacher, because nothing will educate you more on color, light, and composition, than painting from life and out in the world.

In my travel art collections you will see me wander through different mediums like Oil Paint, Watercolor, Pastels, Pencil, and Gouache. And while I ADORE trying new things, you will always find a love of whimsy, color, and texture as a staple in my art.

I will say that for my Live Wedding Painting, Oil Painting has completely captured my heart! I love the old world and romantic feel that Oil can give.

In my day to day, my Sketchbook follows me everywhere and you will often spy me balancing paints while capturing the latest view that has caught my eye.

My work, outside of my live event painting, is inspired by my travels from Iceland, to the Caribbean, to Alaska, to Scotland, and beyond!

I have a love of travel and people and I TRULY think that painting on location is the best way to capture the feel of a place.

Everything you see on my website was 100% created by yours truly and I hope to always continue to share everything I can about how I see this astounding world through my brush. And I thank you endlessly for your support!
