The Parker Mill sits at the top of a windy road on the edge of the mountain. This cliffside wedding was held in the deep of winter, surrounded by the sleepy evergreens and a foggy valley.
In most cases I will take a more candid approach to how I paint and sketch the couple. But Carrie had an amazing vision for their pose in the painting, so we stole 5 minutes after the ceremony to place them in this pose so I could have an exact photo reference to work off.
