When Daisy + Erich started describing their wedding vision as Pride and Prejudice meets Bridgerton I was IMMEDIATELY stoked and had ideas rolling around my mind.
I always get so excited when there is a specific theme or vision for the wedding day that I can then use to inspire my composition and color choices.
Over our coffee/brainstorming chat we were able to delve into the colors, tones, and over lighting feel they would like to see reflected in the painting.
They both wanted a garden party vibe with the guests mingling around the ceremony space. There was a MASSIVE oak tree at their venue that we all knew would be an essential part of the final piece.
We went with a soft look for the colors leaning slightly into the golden hour tones to really bring out the Pride and Prejudice feel to the landscape.
The texture, colors, and overall composition of the painting just make me so happy and I love all the input that Daisy + Erich brought to the planning session.
