Emma really insisted that I lean into my own artistic vision for her painting. Which I always love! 🥰 She wanted a dark and moody vibe with the twinkle lights and to show off the beautiful landscaping of the venue.
She had me set up in the little pagoda across the coy pond, which was so much fun because guests got to cross the little bridge to come visit me while I painted. I had some of the best conversations with their guests!
Emma liked the idea of most of the colors being a softer tone except for the greens which she wanted to be very true to life.
This painting has really turned out to be a favorite of mine this year and I’m so happy with the overall garden feel of the piece.
