Your input and desires for the look and feel of your painting are utmost in my mind.

My packages include a planning session, in person or through video chat, for us to brainstorm the vision for your piece.

In this planning session we will also discuss color palette to ensure your painting not only has the feel you are looking for, but will also be beautiful in your home after your event.

There are few things I love more than wandering through Museums or diving into Art History. I pursue work that has the flavor of the impressionist with the tones of the Old Masters.

With my Live Painting you have 5 hours of painting time included in your package.
But I actually arrive 2-3 hours before your painting time begins to go ahead and create my first sketches and begin laying in the brush work of the painting.
This way your guests have something to view on the canvas when they begin arriving.
The extra time I spend getting ready will not take away from your 5 hours of painting time included in your package.
I will continue to paint through the day, chatting with guests, and slowly forming your painting into a completed piece of Artwork. Adding in you and your guests or scenery as the night progresses.
Once we reach the end of my painting time I will carefully package up your painting and my setup and return to my studio to finish adding final touches the following week.

My Package includes up to a 22×28 canvas.
If you prefer a smaller canvas this will not alter the cost of the package.
I also offer size upgrades if you wish for a larger piece of art.
If your event is held in multiple locations, or you would like me to move from a ceremony space to a reception space I am more than happy to move my setup.
Absolutely! I love to chat with guests as they come to view what I’m working on. And I think it adds to the entertainment aspect of my painting if the guests get involved with questions. :)
There are so many options!
I could paint the festivity of the reception.
Or maybe just the venue/landscape surrounding us.
You may want only you in the painting at the venue without all the guests.
It’s entirely up to you!
We can plan out the subject and focus of your painting at our pre- event meeting.
I always lean toward paintings with movement and original compositions in my work.
My Package includes time in my studio to add finishing touches to your piece of art.
As this is an oil painting it does require some time to dry before I return it to you and your home.
In most instances your painting will be in your hands within 6 weeks of your wedding date.
As an avid traveler I am always happy to travel to new locations with my easel and art supplies!
I have many years of experience traveling with my art things and know my way around transporting paintings.
I am located near Greenville, SC, so if you are interested in having me travel to you I will create a custom package that includes all of the travel.

Once you book with me we will begin planning a time for our braistorming/planning chat in person or online.
In this meeting I will get a sense of what you would like your painting to feel like and what colors feel right for you.
If I am given free rein, I LOVE to paint scenes that feel very candid. Like a snapshot of a moment that isn’t really staged. I also love creating compositions that are very layered to create depth in my painting. So some of my favorite types of scenes to paint at weddings are: The couple on the dance floor with their guests around also dancing, the couple seated at their table at the reception all snuggled up with the party going on around them, the couple walking around the venue together really showing all the landscape in the painting, the couple being congratulated by their family and friends after the ceremony.
