This ceremony ended up being a dance of “DO I or DONT I” move my the painting inside with the looming storm clouds.
I painted until right before the wedding and ended up having lots of time with the ceremony space before I had to move with the incoming rain and wind.
Anna had the most beautiful vision for the artwork, leaning heavily into a turn of the century impressionist style texture and tones.
My main focus was to capture the feel of Spring. I also wanted to capture the effect of the glimmers of light coming through the tree and scattered across the columns and aisle.
